Ukrainian forestry in terms of euro-integration challenges: institutional ground for modernization

Abstract

In the article the preferential directions and modern institutional forms offorestry development are substantiated considering the Euro-integration challenges. The mechanisms to approximate the national model of for est resources management to the analogical models established in the EU countries. The essential prerequisite for implementation of leading European practice into the national management practice is an integration of rural and forestry economy based on establishment of partnership relations. The expediency to form the institutional forms of partnership relations betioeen the agricultural business entities and state forestry enterprises as to the afforestation of agricultural lands and carrying out of agroforestry ivorks is grounded.
