On reduction of technological losses and risk diagnosing in course of development of oil leaks in pipes

Abstract

The article analyses the causes for operational and accidental leakage of oil and petroleum products in piping systems. The issues of risk assessment of oil leaks from the trunk pipelines considering its probabilistic changes have been revealed. The analysis result allowed suggesting the probabilistic approach to assess the ecological and economic risks in case of damage of operational piping systems.
