Abstract

Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) adalah indek yang dikeluarkan oleh The lndonesian lnstitute Corporate Governance berdasarkan hasil survey yang dilakukan terhadap tata kelola perusahaan yang dilakukan pada perusahaan-perusahaan,yang bersifat voluntary. Hasil survey merupakan peringkat bagi perusahaan-perusahaan yang disurvey dan selanjutnya hasil penilaian dipublikasikan pada masyarakat melalui majalah Swasembada.Penelitian ini melihat apakah ada reaksi pasar yang ditunjukkan dari adanya Abnormal Return dan Trading Volume Activity terhadapa publikasi yang dilakukan pada perusahaan-perusahaan hasil survey.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada reaksi pasar yang terjadi setelah publikasi yang dilakukan terhadap pemeringkatan CGPI terhadap perusahaan-perusahaan yang masuk dalam pemeringkatan tersebut.
