Cash on delivery: Penerapan Pada PT. POS Indonesia

Abstract

Paper ini merupakan paper aplikatif dengan membandingan teori dengan penerapan yang ada pada perusahaan, dalam hal ini adalah penerapan Cash on Delivery pada PT. Pos Indonesia, Pekalongan, Jawa Tengah. Terdapat dua research questions yaitu 1). Mengetahui fitur pembayaran dan metode pembayaran Cash on Delivery pada PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Pekalongan 2). Kelebihan dan kekurangan penggunaan fitur Cash on Delivery pada PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Pekalongan. Penerapan fitur metode pembayaran dengan Cash on Delivery adalah a). Aplikasi dan Website pendukung diantaranya Pospay, POSin AJA, Website CGS, Website Kendali, Ticketing, Ipos Web, Ipos Antaran, Ipos Monitoring. b). Prosedur penggunaan Fitur pada PT. Pos Indonesia adalah: penjual menyiapkan paket, pihak pengirim mengunduh aplikasi Pospay dan melakukan regritrasi, pengirim mencetak label alamat serta invoice kiriman, petugas mengunggah data kiriman melalui website CGS, resi diunggah pada Ipos Web, nomer resi akan diberikan sebagai identitas paket, paket diserahkan oleh petugas ke puri kirim, penagihan biaya, pengembalian barang apabila penerima tidak membayarkan tagihan kiriman. Adapun keunggulan dari fitur Cash on Delivery adalah: transaksi aman, bebas biaya penanganan, kemudahan akses pengaduan, jaminan ganti rugi untuk barang yang rusak atau barang hilang. Kelemahan fitur Cash on Delivery adalah kendala aplikasi atau website, pembeli yang kurang bertanggung jawab, kendala teknis pengiriman.
