Precios, producto y balanza de pagos en una economía abierta y estable

Abstract

La apertura externa y la reforma fiscal son características principales de la transformación reciente de la economía chilena. En este trabajo se desarrolla un modelo de equilibrio general para analizar el comportamiento trimestral de las variables macroeconómicas en una economía con esas características. Se discuten las propiedades e hipótesis principales del modelo teórico, que será utilizado en el análisis empírico de la experiencia chilena.
