Abstract

El estudio más completo y riguroso hecho hasta la fecha acerca del funcionamiento de las economías autogestionadas se encuentra en el libro de Jaroslav Vanek, The General Theory of Labor Manager Market Economics, publicado por la Cornell University Press de 1970. Sin embargo, a los estudiantes interesados en dominar su contenido, les ha resultado particularmente difícil comprender el significado y naturaleza del “locus de eficiencia máxima” que juega un papel fundamental en el análisis microeconómico del sistema autogestionado expuesto en la primera parte del libro. este trabajo, se intenta explicar en forma detallada y progresiva el significado de dicho concepto, sus propiedades y el papel que juega en la determinación del equilibrio parcial de largo plazo de una empresa autogestionada.
