Aspectos metodológicos del programa integrado de encuestas a los hogares (PIDEH) del Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas

Abstract

En este trabajo se entrega una visión panorámica de los principales aspectos metodológicos asociados a la nueva muestra orientada a obtener estadísticas laborales que el INE puso en operación en 1985, en el marco de un proyecto denominado Programa Integrado de Encuestas de Hogares (PIDEH). Particularmente, se profundiza en los fundamentos estadísticos asociados al diseño de la referida muestra: la estructura de los estimadores y una evaluación estadística de la calidad de la información obtenida y la organización del trabajo en terreno y otros aspectos operativos.
