Abstract

L’étude des firmes multinationales (FMN) russes est devenue un vrai champ de recherche couvert aujourd’hui par une centaine de publications. Après avoir rappelé les conditions d’émergence de ces firmes, on compare leur investissement à l’étranger à celui des autres pays en transition, puis l’on met empiriquement en évidence leurs spécificités industrielle et régionale. Les FMN russes entrent mal dans le cadre des théories existantes du fait de leur opacité et de leurs interrelations avec les politiques de l’Etat russe, exigeant l’élaboration d’un modèle explicatif particulier. Par delà ce dernier, les FMN russes sont devenues un des piliers du capitalisme d’Etat en Russie.
