Política Predatoria De Precios Aplicada Por Las Tiendas De Conveniencia

Abstract

Ante la duda de si las tiendas de conveniencia podrían estar aplicando una política de precios predatoria con la intención de eliminar competidores y dominar el mercado se realizó un estudio en la zona conurbada Veracruz-Boca del Río que muestra nula manifestación de esta acción. Al contrario se encontró que los pequeños negocios de abarrotes ubicados en las cercanías de las tiendas de conveniencia tienen menores precios, por lo que se recomienda una estrategia de difusión que haga saber al consumidor que ellos manejan precios más bajos y también se recomienda poner atención en el resto de las condiciones que sitúan a las PYMES de este sector en una posición de desventaja aparente en el proceso de competencia.
