Facilitation des échanges et flux d’investissements directs étrangers en Afrique subsaharienne

Abstract

Cet article vise à déterminer les effets de la facilitation des échanges sur les flux d’investissements directs étrangers en Afrique subsaharienne. L’approche économétrique s’appuie sur le modèle de gravité augmenté fondé sur la méthode du Pseudo Maximum de Vraisemblance de la loi de Poisson (PPML). Les données utilisées couvrent la période de 2008 à 2012 et concernent 14 pays d’Afrique subsaharienne. Les résultats économétriques montrent que le cadre institutionnel et les délais à l’exportation constituent un frein pour les investissements directs étrangers en Afrique subsaharienne.
