Abstract

When writing a brief introduction to the translation of the dialogue Plato's Republic. Noica has called the text "cautionary word." That is no accident. Our philosopher wanted to prevent readers reading on two errors, two of considerably old prejudices, namely that in the Republic Plato outlines an ideal state and authoritarian structure height, and that gives out the poets of this is cetate.1 about a regrettable misunderstanding, show Noica. Extending the idea, we could say that each new reading of the dialogue would require a new approach to hermeneutics of text and symbols resignification contained in it, according to a context that is always the present.
