Abstract

The aim of this paper is to explore the internationalization behaviour of for-profit and not-for-profit social enterprises. The paper argues that the process of internationalization has at least three aspects, namely operational modes, product preferences, and expansion strategies. Two organizations, Motherhouse and World Bicycle Relief, are used as examples.
