Abstract
Because of uncertainty, decision making involves risk – a chance of looss. Since future events are unknown, and the implications of events that are known now have effects in the future that are unknown, the world is an uncertainty world. Risk can measured when possible outcomes of an event are known and probabilities can be calculated.
