Abstract

The paper investigated maximum likelihood (ML) estimation of the scale parameter in truncated Rayleigh distribution (TRD). Some important statistical properties of MLE for the scale parameter in TRD are derived. JEL classification numbers: C13, C46, C55.Keywords: Truncated Rayleigh distribution (TRD), maximum likelihood, Fisher information.
