Abstract

This article addresses the complex web of ethical considerations pertaining to artificial intelligence (AI). The paper provides a preliminary analysis of theoretical frameworks and practical implications deriving from the development and deployment of AI. We explore the ethical challenges posed by AI in domains such as privacy, bias, accountability, transparency, and the impact on employment. Existing ethical guidelines are discussed and a framework for ethical AI development is proposed, thus bringing a contribution to the ongoing discussion on responsible AI implementation. In this way, the paper is also a guide for fostering a more ethically sound and socially responsible integration of artificial intelligence technologies.
