The Healthcare In Bulgaria From Antiquity To Our Days

Abstract

The article examines the historical development and manifestation throughout the years of the healthcare in Bulgaria. An attempt is made to define the conditions setting the pattern of methods and means of the healthcare process from Antiquity till our days. The stages in the healthcare development in Bulgaria are examined since the foundation of the Bulgarian state (681) till now. An option is offered for the future development of the healthcare sector in Bulgaria.
