Abstract

There are rewied the problems derived from the integration of the Galician agriculture into the European Union, such as are the application of the CAP and the structural funds and the opening up to the external trade vith the others UE Members, together with the evolution of its agriculture during the last two decades. The worse results of the Galician in respect to the Spanish agriculture seems to be related to a lower dynamic of the different productions unless the milk, and to a greater intensity in the adjustment derived from a higher ageing as well to the application of some CAP measures. In spite of previous estimates on the negative effect of the milk quota, its production increases due to the augmentation in the quantity of references and to a greater dynamic of these farms. The management of structural funds have been deficient, with no substantial advances in the improvement of the structural limitations, which affect to the competitive capacity of its agriculture.
