Abstract

The Strategic framework of economic convergence of Galicia (MECEGA) is the community planning document prepared by the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Galician regional government (Xunta of Galicia), that reflects the goals and strategy that will govern the Structural Funds ERDF and ESF intervention, the Cohesion Fund/ERDF and Cooperation in Border Land in the Autonomous Community in 2007-2013. Also, the MECEGA is consistent with the policies and priorities of Galicia, with the National Strategic Reference Framework 2007-2013, with axes settled in the National Reform Plan 2005-2010, as well as with the principles relating to cross-equal opportunities between men and women, the conservation of the environment and the territorial development.
