Методология И Основные Результаты Исследований Престижа Профессий В Зарубежной Социологии

Abstract

Автор описывает основные этапы развития проблематики престижа профессий от ее возникновения в 1925 г. вплоть до новейших исследований 2006 г. Главный феномен, связанный с понятием престижа профессий, состоит в том, что вне зависимости от использованной методики, выборки испытуемых, места и времени проведения исследования относительный рейтинг престижности профессий остается практически неизменным. Новейшие, более точные исследования показали, что престиж профессий все же имеет небольшую динамику, но рейтинг по-прежнему остается очень устойчивым. В России подобные исследования практически отсутствуют. В статье раскрывается самая общая картина представлений о престиже профессий, сложившихся в западной социологии на основании сотен опросов. Делается вывод о целесообразности проведения в России исследований престижа профессий. Этот феномен представляет интерес как для решения прикладных задач (например, для профессиональной и образовательной ориентации или в качестве объективного параметра стратификации для всех общественных наук), так и в качестве самостоятельного предмета изучения.
