Abstract

Интервью с Иммануилом Валлерстайном, профессором, многолетним директором Центра Фернана Броделя по изучению экономик, исторических систем и цивилизаций при университете штата Нью-Йорк в Бинxемтоне (США). Фундаментальные исследования И. Валлерстайна, посвященные проблемам анализа исторических систем, в особенности становлению и развитию капиталистической мир экономики (КМЭ), получили всемирную известность и открыли новый этап в изучении глобальных процессов развития и трансформации человеческих обществ. "И. Валлерстайн является как видным мировым историком, так и мечтательным пророком. Такое сочетание необычно, особенно для нашей эпохи интеллектуальной фрагментации и академической специализации", - отмечает один из самых авторитетных современных историков У. Макнил.
