Николай Чарновский и управленческая мысль начала ХХ века // Nikolai Charnovskii and Scientific Management of the early XX century

The paper describes the development of management at the beginning of the XX century. At that time, there have being published works on management in different countries of the world. Scientific schools had been formed, but the role of Russian scientists in the development of management theory had been not sufficiently studied yet. Outside the field of view of foreign and domestic scientists remained the scientific school of production organization at the Imperial Moscow technical school (IMTS) and Nikolai Charnovskii’s textbook “Organization of industrial enterprises for metal processing”, published in 1911. The methodological base of the research included narrative, comparative and historical research methods. Revealing archival documents made it necessary to clarify important facts. The results of the study show there were their own scientific management schools not only in the United States and Europe. The comparison of sources has shown that Russia had formed its own research areas, including the IMTS. The research should be used in works on the history of management, in the preparation of anthologies and training courses on management theory. Статья посвящена вопросам развития менеджмент начала ХХ в. В это время в разных странах мира печатались труды по менеджменту, возникли научные школы, однако роли российских ученых в процессе развития теории управления в данный период изучена недостаточно. Вне поля зрения зарубежных и отечественных ученых остается научная школа организации производства в Императорском московского техническом училище (ИМТУ) и учебник Николая Чарновского «Организация промышленных предприятий по обработке металлов», вышедший в 1911 г. Методологическая база исследования включает нарративный, сравнительный и исторический методы исследования. Выявление архивных документов позволило уточнить важные факты. Результаты исследования свидетельствуют о том, что не только в США и Европе появились свои научные школы менеджмента, сравнение источников показало, что в России сформировались свои направления исследований, в том числе и ИМТУ. Исследование может быть использовано в написании трудов по истории менеджмента, при составлении хрестоматий и учебных курсов по теории менеджмента.
