Improvement planning work of railways in empowerment logistics method

Abstract

The article considers the problems of rail transport. The necessity of use of the latest techniques in planning logistics operative work rail. The necessity of intensive use and modernize the existing information systems creation of new software systems to carry out operations on processing of goods to satisfy customers' needs. Considered shippers requirements that must be performed to improve the profitability of the railway and the competitive attractiveness of rail transport. Considered download existing information systems and railway identified the need to improve them by means of improving existing at Ukrzaliznytsya system of electronic data collection, processing and transmission of information, the use of new software modules in automated systems management, or commissioning of geographic information systems. Consider the possibilities GIS examples of their application in rail transport and other sectors, and identified them on expediency of application Ukrzaliznytsya.
