Abstract

Феномен «бедность» исследуется учеными-экономистами весьма глубоко и разнопланово в западной литературе, а в последние годы и в отечественной. Интерес к этому явлению усилился в последней трети XX в. в связи с изучением проблемы качества жизни. Более того, за последние годы эта проблема приобретает глобальные масштабы, что, возможно, происходит из-за отсутствия рациональных подходов к преодолению бедности. В современной России социальное явление «бедность» не имеет определенного статуса это сложная система процессов, приводящих к глубокой перестройке материальной и духовной культуры, причем всего общества, а не только той его части, которая испытывает обеднение.
