Abstract

В статье рассматривается история борьбы Сочи за право проведения Олимпийских зимних игр. Авторы приводят первые итоги XXII Олимпийских зимних игр 2014 года в Сочи с точки зрения их влияния на развитие города-курорта и Краснодарского края в целом. Проведен детальный сравнительный анализ основных социально-экономических показателей Сочи и Краснодарского края со средними показателями Южного федерального округа и России в течение всего олимпийского делового цикла «Сочи 2014». XXII Олимпийские зимние игры 2014 года дали мощный импульс развитию г. Сочи и Краснодарского края и способствовали их ускоренному развитию.
