Однородность Потребительских Предпочтений: Существует Ли Кривая Спроса?

Abstract

Функции спроса и соответствующий анализ зависимостей между спросом и ценой – важнейшая часть современного мейнстрима. Их существование обычно не подвергается сомнению. Однако в их основе лежит предпосылка наличия однородности потребительских предпочтений. Именно однородность (и монотонность) позволяет изображать эти функции с помощью кривых или прямых с отрицательным наклоном. Но насколько реалистична посылка однородности? Существует ли – и если существует, то для каких благ – функциональная зависимость между изменениями цены и объёмом спроса на товар? В работе рассматривается действие закона спроса сначала применительно к частным, а потом – к квазиобщественным (смешанным) благам.
