Abstract

Статья посвящена анализу политико-правовых основ российского законодательства. На основе анализа политико-правовой доктрины императора Павла I, разработанной до вступления на престол, нормативных правовых актов 1796-1801 гг., а также ряда невербальных источников выявляются основные политические идеи, лежащие в основе российского законодательства на рубеже XVIII-XIX вв. В статье делается вывод, что в законодательстве этого периода были сформированы теоретические представления об идеальном государственном устройстве, в котором вся полнота власти сосредоточена в институте неограниченного наследственного монарха, получившего власть от Бога и только перед ним подотчетного за свои действия.
