Северный Морской Путь: Состояние И Перспективы Развития

Abstract

Северный морской путь (СМП) представляет собой серьезную альтернативу так называемым «южным» морским транспортным маршрутам, проходящим через Суэцкий канал. В статье представлены объемы и номенклатура перевозок, осуществляемых по СМП в настоящее время, а также перспектива их развития при наиболее благоприятных условиях. К положительным факторам, работающим на такую перспективу, относятся меры, намеченные в нескольких программных документах государственного уровня: глобальное потепление; общее увеличение объемов международных морских перевозок; целесообразность развития добычи полезных ископаемых вдоль арктического побережья России. Сдерживающими факторами являются: необходимость больших инвестиций в транспортные средства и в инфраструктуру; риск задержек из-за особо сложных арктических условий; обеспечение безопасности.
