Политическая Экономия Институтов: Проблема Определения Предмета Исследования

Abstract

Предмет и центральная тема настоящей статьи не столько институты, сколько сама институциональная теория или, точнее, теория институтов. Центральные вопросы, ответы на которые мы хотим получить, состоят в следующем. Во-первых, определить границы предметной области исследований институциональной теории. Во-вторых, ответить на вопрос, а возможна ли какая-либо особая теория в рамках данной границы или это будет лишь некая «отрасль знаний» или «глава» в рамках более общей теории (как тема издержки в микроэкономике)? В-третьих, если такая теория возможна, то какова собственная методология исследования в этой области и существует ли для изучения институтов некий самостоятельный «ящик с инструментами»?
