Роль Продовольственной Проблемы В Современной Мировой Экономике

Abstract

Статья представляет собой анализ значения глобальной продовольственной проблемы на современном этапе развития мировой экономики. Под глобальной продовольственной проблемой в данной работе подразумевается беспрецедентный рост цен на продукты питания, характерный для конца XX начала XXI в. и заставляющий голодать наиболее бедные слои населения в большинстве стран мира. Автор приводит теоретические подходы к анализу глобальной продовольственной проблемы, раскрывает факторы, лежащие в ее основе, рассматривает пути смягчения последствий ее влияния на мировую экономику. Также в статье разграничиваются термины «продовольственная проблема» и «продовольственная безопасность». В заключении делается вывод о том, что причиной усугубления глобальной продовольственной проблемы является недостаток инвестиций в прикладные для сельского хозяйства науки, порождающий неэффективное использование имеющихся ресурсов. Приводятся варианты решения данной проблемы.
