Становление Российского Рубля Как Международной Валюты

Abstract

Может ли российский рубль стать международной резервной валютой? В статье оцениваются его возможности с точки зрения ключевых факторов, определяющих международный статус национальной валюты: объема национальной экономики, инфляции, волатильности валютного курса и размера национального финансового рынка. По мнению автора, ряд условий говорит в пользу российской валюты, в частности оборот и ликвидность валютного рынка, объем ВВП и внешней торговли, развитие международного рынка долговых ценных бумаг, номинированных в рублях. В статье обсуждаются последствия политики интернационализации рубля для Банка России и российской экономики в целом.
