Оценка Потенциального Влияния Вступления Азербайджана Во Всемирную Торговую Организацию На Экспортные Возможности Страны

Abstract

С целью оценки потенциального эффекта от вступления Азербайджана во Всемирную торговую организацию (ВТО) на объем его экспорта в статье оценивается гравитационная модель. Данные, использованные при оценке модели, имеют панельную структуру и охватывают период с 2006 по 2010 гг. и включают 600 наблюдений. В качестве методов оценки используются МНК и применимый обобщенный МНК. Установлено, что в долгосрочном периоде вступление в ВТО принесет выгоду Азербайджану: ожидаемый рост экспорта составляет 83%. Однако необходимо отметить, что рост экспорта следует ожидать, только если правительство будет стимулировать производство тех товаров, по которым у Азербайджана есть конкурентные преимущества по сравнению с другими странами. В заключение статьи приводятся некоторые рекомендации.
