Abstract

Публикация посвящена проблеме преждевременной смертности населения как фактора, препятствующего повышению производительности труда и экономическому развитию страны. В статье проанализирована ситуация со смертностью населения трудоспособного возраста в Российской Федерации в сравнении с другими странами мира, а также, на материалах Вологодской области, проведена оценка демографических и экономических потерь, вызванных смертностью населения в трудоспособном возрасте.
