Abstract

Страны, входящие в Европейский Союз в настоящее время, напоминают лоскутное одеяло, где интересы стран существенно расходятся и далеки от общих интеграционных устремлений. Одним из типичных примеров расхождения интересов частных и общих отношения между Великобританией и ЕС. И хотя сторонники общеевропейской интеграции иронизируют над некоторыми неудачными выступлениями английской печати, создается впечатление, что нет дыма без огня, и газеты, пусть не в прямой форме, но отражают определенное недовольство островных жителей потерей части своего суверенитета, непрошеным вторжением других стран в их внутренние дела, обычаи, устоявшийся уклад жизни.
