Socio-economic approach to the study of foreign economic relations of the region

Abstract

The article is devoted to considering of socio-economic approach to the study of foreign economic relations of the region, the main statements of the approach are formulated. The indices of foreign trade activities of Sverdlovsk region, the volume of foreign investment are analyzed, countries which can be regions strategic partners are identified. In the article the tasks and directions of regional foreign policies to improve competitiveness and socio-economic development are defined.
