Abstract

В статье рассматривается одна из наиболее актуальных проблем современного страхового рынка, а именно, обеспечение финансовой устойчивости страховой организации. Проведен анализ понятийного аппарата, уточнена сущность, предложено авторское определение финансовой устойчивости, платежеспособности, а также взаимосвязи и взаимозависимости этих экономических категорий. Исследованы факторы, определяющие финансовую устойчивость страховщика; выявлены проблемные моменты повышения уровня его платежеспособности и финансового потенциала в целом.
