Abstract

Данная статья посвящена одной из самых актуальных проблем американской образовательной системы ее традициям в историческом и культурном аспектах. Особое внимание уделено активной роли общественности в системе образования США. Автор доказывает, что главной традиционной чертой системы образования США является ее существование в конкурентной среде. Традиционно американскую систему образования характеризуют как децентрализованную систему, что отличает ее от образовательных систем в других странах.
