Abstract

Развитие современной экономики и общества в целом все в большей степени основывается на производстве услуг, знаний и информационных технологий; именно в этих сферах деятельности создается все большая часть богатства общества. Авторами представлены основные этапы становления экономики знаний и ее основные признаки. Показано, что эти процессы протекают неравномерно: как по отраслям, так и по странам наблюдаются огромные различия в уровне проникновения их в экономику. При ведущей роли «новой экономики» сохраняются и будут сохраняться страны и отрасли традиционной экономики. Наблюдаемые в настоящее время в России и выделенные авторами тенденции использования одного из важнейших ресурсов экономики знаний трудовых ресурсов нельзя назвать отвечающими новым требованиям, несмотря на провозглашенные правительством приоритеты развития страны.
