Abstract

В статье приведены динамика показателей научно-инновационного пространства макрорегиона Северо-Западного федерального округа, условия научно-инновационного развития на собственной базе ряда периферийных регионов, их сближение с лидером. Обозначены факторы роста научного потенциала периферийных мест. Особое внимание уделено составу местных образовательных и научных организаций. Поставлены вопросы об инновационном саморазвитии территорий, влиянии постиндустриальных технологий и роли местных властей.
