Санкт-Петербургский Парадокс И Его Значение Для Экономической Теории

Abstract

Статья посвящена Санкт-Петербургскому парадоксу, которому в сентябре 2013 г. исполняется 300 лет. Он сыграл ключевую роль в развитии нескольких научных сфер, особенно в области экономической теории (прежде всего, теории ожидаемой полезности, принципа убывающей предельной полезности и ряда других гипотез и теорий), а также финансового моделирования. Хотя многие авторы на протяжении долгих лет дискуссии не осознавали экономического содержания данной проблемы, они предложили ряд подходов, которые имели и до сих пор имеют решающее значение для формирования современной точки зрения на принятие экономических решений в условиях неопределенности. Особую важность при этом играют приложения на финансовых рынках, связанные с обоснованием тех или иных финансовых операций.
