Проблема Верификации В Экономической Теории

Abstract

This article considers the development of the epistemological foundations of economics, especially focusing on the problem of the verification of truthfulness of theoretic statements. The author reviews some of the possibilities and defects of both the apriority-deductive and inductive processes of truth verification. Riazanov then proceeds to demonstrate that the verification process should be one of continual testing of truth. Moreover, it is shown that, in general, societies should aim towards promoting those preconditions which encourage economic science to seek verifiable truths. To accomplish this, the influence of both ruling ideologies as well as the dictates of the market place on economic science needs to be significantly weakened.
