Significance of financial business networks in stimulation of economic development of the Russian empire and the industrial region in Eastern Ukraine at late XIX century – beginning of XX century has been considered. Major tendencies of business networks development, advantages and prerequisites of their instability during the financial crisis of 1899-1903 have been shown. Розглянуто значення фінансових бізнес-мереж в активізації економічного розвитку Російської імперії та індустріального регіону у Східній Україні наприкінці ХІХ – на початку ХХ ст.Показано основні тенденції розвитку бізнес-мереж, їх переваги та передумови їх нестабільності під час фінансової кризи 1899-1903 рр.
