Abstract

It has been proved that social security of population is significant means of providing social and political stability in the country. The level of actual food consumption by quintile groups has been analysed. Availability of commodities market for poor and commodities market for rich inUkrainehas been grounded. Basic directions of improving state social policy on creating effective and flexible system of social security of population inUkrainehave been suggested Доведено, що соціальний захист населення є вагомим засобом забезпечення соціальної та політичної стабільності в державі. Проведено аналіз щодо рівня фактичного споживання продовольства по квінтильним групам. Обґрунтовано наявність ринку товарів для бідних і ринку товарів для багатих в Україні. Запропоновано основні напрямки удосконалення соціальної політики держави щодо створення ефективної гнучкої системи соціального захисту населення в Україні
