Abstract

There are different views regarding the meanings of each of the two terms, “labor relations” and “industrial relations”. Some experts argue that there are identifiable differences between terms, that there are differences of substantival nature that justify the use of each term, while others argue that the phenomena and concepts described are interchangeable in all respects. The main purpose of this paper is to achieve a separation of the two concepts and to identify the areas of their intermission.
