Abstract

The present paper highlights aspects on the status reached by some of the possible directions/ trends of development of the tourism from the Danube Delta, established in different studies and researches, as well as suggestions in eliminating the disfunctions or in order to successfully achieve them. As a consequence of the fact that the tourism in The Biosphere Reserve Danube Delta causes benefits and costs, the planning and development have been established by the main actors so as to aim getting an advantage from the interest shown by tourists in order to improve the economic opportunities, to protect the national and cultural patrimony, to improve the quality of life of all the people belonging to this area.
