Abstract

The paper aims at highlighting the methodology adopted in liquidation of a cooperative institution registered under the Cooperative Societies Act, 1984. It also provides an insight into the time taken, problems faced and strong will and efforts required in executing the whole exercise and bringing it to a logical end. This article seeks to identify certain important organizational and human resources related issues which need to be addressed properly in the context of the Indian economy.
