Abstract

L’objectif de cette contribution est d’analyser les solutions déjà appliquées et celles encore en débat face à la crise économique et sociale consécutive au Grand Confinement. Après avoir défini l’hyperfinanciarisation néolibérale comme cadre structurel de mise en œuvre des choix de politique économique, il est soutenu que des solutions généralement affirmées comme rompant avec le passé sont en fait pleinement dominées par lui. Notre argument se concentre sur l’endettement public, mesure phare des remèdes proposés. Sans un changement profond de l’ordre politique et économique existant, ces instruments de politique économique manifestent une capacité limitée de transformation et ne peuvent d’emblée constituer des alternatives progressistes au système dominé par une orthodoxie économique et financière.
