Abstract

In this short paper, we review our experiences with building an R-based automated data editing street, pointing out lessons learned in both software applications and user expectations. The lessons include a number of features that will be useful for the further development of our R packages and led to the discovery of a simple but very useful property of reliability weights used in the process of error localization. Finally, we discuss future directions for our data editing software.
