Abstract

The authors aim to present a brief, but accurate, review of the aspects and problems related to the modern theory of the evaluation of effectiveness. In this context, after some introductory remarks, they present the interpretation of the specific nature of the evaluation of effectiveness and same theoretical insights and definitions for those subjects which require further development. They point out the links that they believe there are between evaluation of effectiveness, value creation and development of organizational quality. A general outline of the management function of effectiveness evaluation concludes.
