The educacional and formative role of gymnastics

Abstract

Gymnastics is a method of physical education but also one for the general education for having a healthy lifestyle that is why I took upon myself to highlight its educational role. Students gain movement skills by directing their actions and body esthetics, getting prepared for adult life and work and improving their physical exercising skills at the same time of understanding the benefits of their actions. Our permanently purpose as specialists is to keep and improve esthetic and harmonious development of student’s body with repercussions on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, according to the actual demands of the society. This paper goal is to promote gymnastics as a mean of reaching physical education objectives and student’s needs. Learning through playing, competition, racing, in simple and fun manner is the most efficient way for everybody, with maximum benefits.
