Abstract

In the past centuries, top athletes relied on their talent to compete for the first place. Today, technology is part of the project and at all levels. Even if we talk about training, recovery, care, equipment, or the contest itself, high-performance sport isdependent on technology and high technology innovation. Along with the mass use of theinternet, a wide range of information has become available for anyone on Earth, waiting tobe accessed at any time. This ranged from nutrition, all the way to training routines and soon. In the past decades, there have been huge technological progress in the domain ofsports and sports education. This technological revolution has been felt worldwide, and thesports habits of everyone have changed very much during the restrictions caused byCOVID-19, privileging physical activities as fitness or yoga. Thanks to videos and the lives of sports influencers, many have started or continued regular physical activity even in makeshift spaces in their homes.
